Waiting for paint and paper

Last night I stopped at Home Depot and bought the suggested larger brush for applying globs of water to paper for the watercolor class. I also got a small chunk of white “marker” board, thinking it would hold up under the damp paper.

Look at that cute, short-handled brush! Perfect for packing up with supplies. Also two very inexpensive brushes. Oh, and they have quart and larger plastic containers with optional snap-on lids. I went with two of those rather than carrying around a glass jar with screw on lid. I have used recycled water containers for transporting water but these will be nice for using. I had to borrow a fellow’s height to get down the lids – that usually amuses taller folks when I ask for assistance that way – “may I borrow your height for a moment?”

I can see that the one package of supplies has landed at home – now just awaiting the paper.
